Parameter Notes:

Upstream-to-Downstream Report

These graphs plot annual mean stream concentrations from upstream to downstream within each basin, for the selected parameter, year and historical comparison period. See more details below on how to interpret these graphs.

Additional Instructions for interpreting the graphs

There are four different kinds of series plotted on the Upstream to Downstream line charts:

  • Solid line series represent data for the selected year.
  • Dashed lines represent data for the historical period averages.
  • Tributary stations are shown as hollow round points, not connected to their respective basin series but located along the X-axis geographically according to where that tributary meets the mainstem creek.
  • Effluent stations are shown as hollow diamond points, not connected to their respective basin series but located along the X-axis geographically according to where the discharge enters the mainstem creek.

There are three historical comparison period options including:

  • The 5-year period preceding this study year (2018 - 2022)
  • The 10-year period preceding this study year (2013 - 2022)
  • All data available for that location and parameter, excluding 2023

Please note that choosing a different Year does not change the years included in the three comparison period options.
